Residents who are 22 or older and have lived in Alta Housing communities for a year or longer can apply for scholarships to help advance their careers. These scholarships can be used for certificate programs, community college or a four year degree.

The Opportunity Fund was created in honor of  Jean Dawes who has been a tireless advocate for affordable housing in Silicon Valley and the pursuit of higher education.  Jean served on the Alta Housing Board for over 30 years.
