Alta Housing and Mental Health Associates were chosen to manage and provide services for Redwood City’s second HomeKey project at 1818 El Camino Real.   San Mateo County was awarded a $16 million grant to purchase a motel and convert it into permanent supportive housing.  The money will go toward the purchase, renovation and operation of the 51-room Comfort Inn & Suites at 1818 El Camino Real .  On-site services will include education, employment and mental health counseling.

In 2017, Housing Trust Silicon Valley’s Tech Fund provided the acquisition financing for the land where Luna Vista now sits.   Three years later, there are 71 units of new affordable housing in Mountain View.  We were so glad to have Noni Ramos, Julie Mahowald , Michael Norris and Board Member Katie Ferrick from the Housing Trust Silicon Valley tour the property and see what their funding helped create.  Thank you Housing Trust Tech Fund!
